The Old Durbar 12 Years Old whisky is aged for 12 years in Scotland in Ex-Bourbon barrels, then for an additional year in Nepal in Oloroso sherry barrels, and finally for one more year in Pedro Ximenez sherry barrels. This process creates a unique flavor profile, with notes of vanilla, caramel, dried fruits, and a hint of sherry sweetness.

FIRST BARREL :: BOURBON CASKS

The Scotch Malt is aged for an exclusive 12 years in ex-bourbon casks made from American white oak. This maturation process imparts sweet and creamy notes of coconut, vanilla, honey, and caramel.

SECOND BARREL :: OLOROSO SHERRY OAK

After the initial maturation in ex-bourbon casks, the Scotch whisky is further aged for one year in Nepal in Oloroso sherry casks. This additional aging process adds a rich character and smoothness to the whisky and imparts notes of dried fruits and spice.

THIRD BARREL :: PEDRO XIMENEZ SHERRY CASK

The final step in the aging process for this whisky is to age it for one more year in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks from Jerez region of Spain. This gives the whisky notes of sherry sweetness, raisins, and chocolate.
